Welcome to Retroman40's World!

The Wight-Meyer winery is a recent addition to our list of wineries visited.  We made our first (and probably not last) visit in January 2014.  It is nestled at the end of a residential neighborhood but there are signs off KY-248 as well as along the residential streets guiding you to the winery.  It is a few miles east of Interstate 65 (Exit 116).  The place itself is very nice.  As you can see in the photo gallery below, the tasting room is well appointed.  If you want to do a tasting it will set you back five bucks but you keep the glass at the end.  All their wines are very nice but we took a real liking to a couple including their Pine Creek Red and their Chambourcin.

You can check them out further at their own website by clicking here.

This is certainly a place worth visiting.
