It seems like everywhere you look these days someone is trying to push some sort of dietary supplement on you, particularly if you are trying to lose weight and/or get in shape.  The question is are they any good and do you really need them?  Conventional wisdom is that if you eat a proper diet you don't need any supplements.  The problem with that is that not too many of us actually eat a "proper" diet.
